SEO vs GS

Or why a good story (GS!) is worth a million SEO hints

I will keep this one very short but wanted to share and see what you guys out there think about this.

For a while, I have been using a SEO plugin to my browser to study websites, keywords, ranking and all that jazz. You know it probably better than me!

And what I find is, that SEO is probably best for… the SEO-providers, and not much more.

Why?

To begin with, I think a good story is a pleasure to read. It will (obviously…) have keywords. If you were to take them out, and make a mish-mash out of them, the new story will only be as good as its writer. Am I wrong?

Surely, it is nice — and important — to have your content searchable.

Though, really, is that worth automating writing? Machine learning?

Or am I behind on this and missing the point?

I will ponder this while not wasting precious time on figuring out the key words in people’s writing.

PS. Or perhaps you find this as a clearer version of my stance?
